McLean Hospital, America's top ranked freestanding psychiatric hospital, is inviting applications for a full time Staff Psychologist/Behavioral Therapist in Belmont, MA.
The OCDI Jr.
is a residential and partial program for children and adolescents who present with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, and related disorders.
The program provides cutting-edge clinical treatment delivered in a sensitive and nurturing manner.
Clinical responsibilities include providing evidence-based individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, and involvement with trainings, supervision, and clinical research.
The position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to function both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
The primary treatment modality is Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), while drawing from other evidence-based modalities within a cognitive-behavioral framework.
Salary and recruitment package in accordance with Hospital policies, and a Harvard Medical School appointment at the academic rank of Lecturer, Instructor or Assistant Professor (full or part time) will be contingent on meeting the requirements for an HMS appointment and candidate qualifications including Massachusetts licensure.
Provides clinical services including individual therapy, family therapy and leads clinical groups.
Maintains contact with family members as appropriate Documents in the record by the completion of treatment plans, patient encounter forms, appropriate progress notes, clinical summaries and other documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Serves as liaison to other health care professionals including mental health practitioners and others Provides interface with payers and managed care organizations through the completion of timely and effective reviews Participates in program and hospital administrative activities (e.
g.
staff meetings, CQI, hospital committees, etc.
) Maintains awareness of medicolegal/risk management issues.
Participates in the hospital teaching and research efforts, including supervision of trainees and CRC's as assigned.

in psychology from an accredited school of psychology.
Licensed or license eligible in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Psychologist.
Experience with children/adolescents and families is required and experience with OCD and ERP is preferred.
Candidates experienced with pediatric anxiety and cognitive-behavioral therapy with an interest in learning intensive OCD treatments are welcome to apply.
All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.
Required to complete electronic medical records training, and demonstrate 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.
