Vehicle Description 1961 Sunbeam Alpine Series 2 with factory headers and electric overdrive, purchased in 1992 when I was in college.
Owned for 30 years.
Repaired frame and floors in 1992, repaired other rust with new metal door skins, replacement eyebrows around headlamps.
New stainless steel exhaust in 1992.
Painted original Carnival red color code 39 in 1993 (car was green on the exterior when purchased.
Switched wire wheels to minilites and Replaced seats and all interior new and new top in 2006, by Her Majestys Service formerly in Swansea.
Rebuilt radiator and fully repaired cooling system in 2022 by Brit Bits in Rye.
A fun car has always started, runs strong, and is fun to drive.
Has garage rash of a nearly 30-year-old paint job, needs a cosmetic refresh, or someone to enjoy driving more often than I can.
Kept garaged always and never driven in winter or in the rain.
The new top from 2006 has never been up.
Have extra little parts, like bumperettes, and convertible top latches.
Have repair manuals and other Alpine books to go with it.
The driver's side headlamp trim bounced off and is scraped up.
The set screw had come out (a common occurrence).
